Originally built in the early 1900's, each vintage cottage has been historically restored and updated while maintaining the ambience and charming simplicity representative of the era of the original plantation home. One -, two - and three - bedroom cottages have complete kitchens and large lanais (porches) with coconut grove or ocean views. Or live like the plantation owners at the Manager's Hale (home), a two-story, five - bedroom house, offering a comfortable oceanfront lanai, two dining areas and a large living room. Just 28 miles from Lihue Airport. Four - and five - bedroom units must be booked directly with the property.

Waimea Plantation Cottages, comfortable historic cottages on the sunny west shore of Kaua'i. The former sugar plantation laborer's houses let you experience a bygone era of old Hawaii, when life was simple and unhurried. We are the perfect location for the eco-tourism minded individual or group, famialy reunion or retreat. We provide a respite for those who would like to distance themselves from anything resembling a corporate structure. 48 cottages are nestled amongst 27 acres of tropical shade and fruit trees including a century old coconut grove. The vast lawns are lined with fragrant and flowering shrubbery. This is rural Kaua'i. This is Kaua'i at its serene best.
